The Coming New Age

We are at the beginning of a new age, whether you call it “The Intuition Age”, “The Spiritual Age”, or “The Age of Enlightenment”, it is happening. And while there are many humans as well as dark being and dark forces trying to stop it, it will happen.
Decades ago, I had a friend who also worked in the computer services industry. In fact we worked on the same project for a few years. But as we all know, the computer has changed drastically over the last thirty years and, perhaps to a lesser extent, so has the software on them. My friend paid little attention to those changes. When most everyone else was learning to use and program the new micro computers, the kind we now call desktops, he stuck with working on the big mainframe computers. Of course it didn't take long for my friend and other like him to get laid off. What's worse is he never found another job in computer services and spent the rest of his life working at Walmart for much less than he made as a computer programmer.
Don't be like my friend when it comes to your life's path. The new age is upon us and we all know that 2012 is a critical year in that process (no, not the end of the world!). We have basically two choices:
-
We can do our best to change with the rest of the world, to do what we can to be part of the change process rather than hindering it or
-
We can cling to the past, to the Age of Materialism, and watch that age die painfully and take us with it.
Change is always a difficult thing, especially for adults. We get into a kind of comfortable niche and don't want to leave. Even when that comfortable place starts falling apart and being far from comfortable, we don't want to leave thinking we can go back to where it was before. We can't. So stop trying to bring it back and instead move forward and embrace the Age of Spirit that is coming, with or without you.

Nice post, Harold. I was just talking on the phone with my friend about this very subject minutes before opening your blog!
Happy 2012!
