Behind the Scenes

We always make offerings to the sun
    And to the mountains
And to the stars.
That is why we live here...
We are the Elder Brothers.
We have not forgotten the old ways.
How could I say I do not know how to dance?
We still know how to dance.
We have forgotten nothing.
We know how to call the rain.
If it rains too hard we know how to stop it.
    We call the summer.
We know how to bless the world and make it flourish
.” ~The Kogis

To most people of today, this tale is pure fantasy, a plot for a video game perhaps, not something real. Even most people who are religious or spiritual find it hard to believe that there are now, or have ever been, people capable of controlling the elements such as wind and rain, people who could change the direction of a tornado so it would miss their village or bring rain during a drought. People who commanded the sun to shine favorably on their people, on their brothers and sisters no matter where they were.

But the lack of belief doesn't change the fact that such people did exist since the very beginning and a few still exist today, quietly doing there work in the background, seeking no recognition from anyone but God. The bad news is that their number is dwindling and our materialistic societies of today are not creating enough people with the right talents and disposition to replace them. That is why some true spiritual schools, schools that are capable of teaching these skills, are to some degree coming out of hiding and revealing themselves to the general public in hope of correcting this situation before it is too late. Unfortunately, while the desire to become spiritual is growing, the phony schools that teach their own made up nonsense or feel-good half-truths get more attention and far more students than those real schools. The real schools know that they cannot appeal to large numbers and they don't try to, they would rather teach truth to a few hundred than teach lies or half-truths to many thousands. I hope some of you who read this are ready to give up the fantasies of these fell good schools and are willing to at least try out a real spiritual school.
