I have previously written about Selenite, a stone that is considered very useful as an aid to spiritual growth. This stone was only discovered a few decades ago and some spiritual people say this is a sing of the growing spirituality in the world. Perhaps the greatest discovery regarding this stone in the cave found in Mexico which is full of giant selenite crystals, some more than thirty feet long. Here is a video of it that is on youtube:

While this video is interesting, I wonder what it would be like if more spiritual people were in the cave instead of just materialistic scientists.
A had a strange dream a few nights ago in which I was traveling to some city on a train and, before arriving, had to get off the train because of strange things happening. There seemed to be electric power problems happening in the city. At the same time, there were many strange lights and electrical discharges happening in the sky. I might think this dream had some deep meaning if it were not for these two facts: I had that day read this article about strange electrical discharges and had also watched part of the movie The Polar Express on TV. I just wanted to point out that dreams, even very strange ones, aren't always full of prophecies and hidden meaning.
I recently read an interesting novel titled The Fourth Awakening. As a novel it was enjoyable but I certainly hope people don't take it's strange idea of what enlightenment is seriously. Enlightenment is not about awakening parts of the brain so you can think better, it's about awakening the soul so you can communicate with God and the Beings of Light which only communicate through the soul.
“When a belief is widely held in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, we call it superstition. By that criterion, the most egregious superstition of modern times, perhaps of all time, is the 'scientific' belief in the non-existence of psi.” ~Thomas Etter
Gadhafi, and his strange obsession with Condoleezza Rice, isn't the only dictator or world leader with a strange obsession. The son of Equitorial Guinea's dictator owns a collection of Michael Jackson memorabilia worth $1.4 million and North Korea's dictator owns videos of nearly all of Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls basketball games.
The owner of a chain of convenience stores offered a prize of $10 to his employees for guessing who would be the next person he fired for violating company policy.
If you think the person who paid more than a million dollars for a Peter Lik photo was a little crazy, what about the guy who paid over four million for one by German photographer Andreas Gursky.
Thanks to the strange rules of accounting in different countries, a Canadian company that posted a loss of $1.28 billion using Canadian accounting rules would have instead posted a profit of $2.2 billion if they could have used U.S. Accounting rules.
The Chinese government wants to stamp out laziness at work, so they held a video conference on better work discipline. Five officials of the Chinese tax bureau were suspended from their jobs when they were caught sleeping or reading newspapers during the conference.
