It's interesting that science broke off from religion centuries ago because the inflexible dogma of the major churches were suppressing scientific knowledge and preventing scientists from doing their work. Now science has become every bit as dogmatic and intolerant of scientific rebels who's theories go outside the lines.

A record year for tornadoes, droughts, floods, and heat waves and a few earthquakes thrown in for good measure. And it's only 2011, not 2012.
