Spiritual Properties of Metal: Copper

Copper is well known for it's conductive properties and is used in much electrical wiring. The ancients made weapons and tools from copper because it was easier to work with than iron. Copper is also a bridge between two different things including the material world and the spiritual.

A person who has a cooper personality is easy tempered and artistic. He is always considerate of others and will place the need of others on an equal level with his own. Copper people are romantic. They are likely to like poetry, ballet and opera. They may even write poetry or compose music. They tend to go with the flow and seek harmony. They may be good peacemakers. They tend to be kind and generous. They tend to like creature comforts. They have strong family ties and friendships. They tend to be sociable and enjoy being with others. The colors most associated with copper people are green, blue and pink.

On the negative side, those who are too coppery can be indecisive, weak, flighty, and lack structure in their life and the ability to plan. They can be too trusting and always assume the best, so optimistic, they loose touch with reality.

A person who is too coppery can get balance by wearing something made of iron or lead. Also, gem stones or crystals in warm colors such as ruby, garnet, citrine, or orange sapphire can help.
