Scripture: Ecclesiastes 1:5-7

The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to the place where he arose.
The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirlith about continually, and the wind returneth again according to to the to his circuits.
All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

Not only does the physical sun rise and set, so does the Sun or Righteousness come and go, though not for the same reasons or on the same schedule. The wind blows north one day and south the next. The rivers carry water from the mountains to the sea and the clouds carry it back to the mountains. Everything in cycles. Everything in balance. So there is no reason to despair in dark times as the Light will soon follow.
