I had another interesting syncronicity event this week. Somehow, I got thinking about the idea of Catholic priests being allowed to marry as one way to possible stop some of the sex abuse problems. I was thinking of a way that could allow marriage, but without really encouraging it. The idea I came up with was to allow priests to be married, but not bishops or higher. That way, priests who choose to marry would be giving up the possibility of being promoted to bishop one day. A few hours later, I was reading a novel, one dealing with mysteries from the bible, and the main character visited a friend in Addis Ababa, an Orthodox priest, to get some information from him and the novel said that this priest was married which meant that he could never be promoted to bishop in the Orthodox church. I was completely unaware of this rule already existing in any church.

 If your reading this, I can assume that you did not participate in the Rapture yesterday because it didn't happen as planned by some. Since we can't know when the Rapture will really occur, the best policy is to always be ready for it.
