And, while we're at it, here is a radical idea regarding use of flood planes: only allow mobile homes. Real mobile homes with wheels that stay on them so they can be moved quickly when floods are coming. It makes sense, so it won't happen.
I read this week that nearly a third of all food grown, gets wasted one way or another. So why are corporations spending millions developing frankencrops that they claim will solve hunger problems? We already have more than enough food, but we waste it. Growing more won't change that.
