Scripture:The Bhagavad Gita 15:10

  The deluded do not see the Self when it leaves the body or when it dwells within it. They do not see the Self enjoying sense objects or acting through the gunas. But they who have the eye of wisdom see.


Some people expect, or demand, that the spirit and the spiritual world show itself to them before they will consider making an effort to develop their spiritual Self. That is a case of putting the cart before the horse. You have to make an effort to awaken and develop the spiritual self before you can develop the spiritual eyes needed to see anything spiritual.
