On The Hostile Sun
when the daytime consciousness has gotten overweening
when thoughts are stiff, like old leaves,
and ideas are hard, like acorns ready to fall.
Then the sun turns hostile to us
and bites at our throats and chests...” ~from “The Hostile Sun” by D. H. Lawrence
I have to disagree with Lawrence on this one. The sun is very neutral. It does not turn hostile to us. What it does do is reflect and amplify that which we send to it. So if we radiate primarily negative and evil thoughts of hatred, jealousy, greed, bigotry, etc., that is what the sun will radiate back to us in an amplified way. Amplified to the point where the energy can be very destructive, very hostile, because we are being very destructive and hostile.
On the other hand, when we radiate positive thoughts and emotions: love, peace, tolerance, caring, sharing, etc., the sun must do the same. It cannot send hostile energies to us if we are sending it peaceful thoughts. You can think of the sun as being like one of those mirrors that makes everything ten times larger. If it is reflecting hostility and damaging energies, it is only because that is what most of us are transmitting.
So if we don't like hostile energies coming at us from the sun, the solution is simple: don't send hostile energy to the sun. Of course, what sounds simple is often quite difficult to achieve but, with God's help, it can be done.
