Random Thoughts 2-6-2011

The marches and rioting in Egypt should serve as a warning to dictators, despots and corrupt governments everywhere. The people can only be controlled by such governments for a limited amount of time, then some event will trigger this kind of situation and bring that government down or force major changes.

I'm not sure the homeless couple that won tickets to the Superbowl are as lucky as everyone seems to think. Sure, they will have a great time for one day, but then what? They return to living in the streets with the added burden of having just about everyone in the country knowing that they are homeless. And the cost of those tickets could rent them a small apartment for five or six months.
