Random Thoughts 1-30-2011

I'm amazed that, according to the news reports on HLN, the search for that missing boy and the report that the boyfriend's car was seen being driven into a canal, has resulted in twelve cars being pulled out of that canal (none had the missing boy in them). Is that some new fad in California, driving cars into canals?

The supermarket that hid the cover of the US magazine with Elton John and his mate and baby on it say they did it only because some customer(s) complained. I wonder if I went into that store and told them I was a vegetarian and offended by magazine covers showing pots of beef stew and roast chickens, would they have covered up those magazines? I doubt it.

So a recent study found that men could not remember what an attractive and scantily dressed women reporter said but could remember what a modestly dressed one said. Is that supposed to be surprising information?

A large group of American Rabbis have partitioned media mogul Rupert Murdock to crack down on false statements being made by Glenn Beck and others on Fox News regarding the Holocost.
