I also don't understand Michael Moore and others who are supporting Wikileaks founder Julian Assange as if he is a hero for revealing government secrets. Do they really thing it's wrong for governments to have secrets? Do they think maybe the government should publish full instruction on making atomic bombs, on how to beat airport security, or detail on the latest fighter planes under development? It seems like just a few years ago people were up in arms over some guy publishing an online ebook giving instructions on how to make bombs at home for fun and leisure, now they are supporting a guy revealing national secrets. And if you think Assange is doing this for altruistic reasons, ask yourself: why is a Swedish citizen revealing U. S. Secrets and not those of Sweden, Denmark or other European countries?
"Christmas - that magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance - a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved." ~Augusta E. Rundel
I think that those who use Christmas and Christmas shopping as an aid to crime are among the sleaziest of all. Here are a few I've seen reported so far this year:
-
A guy gets a delivery of many boxes wrapped as Christmas gifts. Unfortunately for him, the police had been tipped off and confiscated his “gifts” full of marijuana and arrested the man.
- A women takes two little kids into a crowded mall where she has them grab some very expensive designer handbags and walk out of the store without paying for them.
- Another women had to set up a security camera to catch crooks grabbing packages of her door step right after they were delivered.
- A women sold the gifts grandma gave her kids for Christmas and used the money to buy herself crack.
