Types of Clairaudience
Clairaudience is a psychic ability wherein we receive communication through sound. Many people think that clairaudience must be in the form of voices in there head telling them to do something or to avoid something like a warning to not get on a particular plane for example. Because that doesn't happen to them, they think they are not clairaudient. But clairaudience can come in other forms as well.
You might turn on your radio and the old song “Detour” that you haven't heard in years is playing and you wonder why. A short time later you find yourself stuck in a major traffic jam that you would have avoided if you had listened to the warning and got off the highway. Or you might turn on the TV and here some line of dialog that doesn't make sense in the context of the story like “Call aunt Tessy.” So you call aunt Tessy who doesn't answer and you then call a neighbor to check on her. The neighbor finds that aunt Tessy has fallen down the stairs and couldn't get up to call for help.
A clairaudient message may not have words at all. You might here someone whistling a tune in your head. Later, when your in the bank, someone in line is whistling that tune just as you heard it earlier. You get out of line and leave the bank and find out later that the guy tried to rob the bank and held several customers hostage. So don't assume because you don't hear voices in your head that you never have clairaudience. You may have it in a more subtle form.
Of course, the difficult part is learning to know when these things are warnings or instructions and when they are just meaningless coincidence. Only experience can help with that. I remind everyone though to remember that, while psychic abilities often develop while one is developing their spiritual self, being psychic is not the same as being spiritual.
