Give Yourself Permission
Sometimes we hold ourselves back because we seem to think we need permission from somebody before we can proceed. It's like something from our childhood when we needed our parent's permission gets stuck in our subconscious and stays there for the rest of our lives limiting us because now that we are adults, we don't have someone to give us that permission. The solution to this problem is to simply give yourself permission. You can just say it, out loud or in your mind, or you can write it down for even better effect. Whatever it is that you thing you can't do without permission, whether it's spiritual or material:
“I give Sally (myself) permission to write a novel.”
“I give Ted (myself) permission to try to sell some of his artwork.”
“I give Joe permission to take a photography course and become a photographer.”
“I give Cindy permission to spend time working on awakening and developing her immortal soul.”
When you start having doubts, read your permission slip again , or repeat the permission mentally until your subconscious accepts it.

I like this concept, Harold. I am in the process of writing a book about synchronicity journaling, and finding that my "inner critic" is jumping in there every chance "it" gets. I've started waking up in the morning (and throughout the day) saying, "I love you, Jenna, and I know that you have something of value to offer the world!"
Thanks for this post
