Transformation Euphamisms

The princess kisses a frog and turns him into a prince.
The alchemist turns lead into gold.
The ugly duckling turns into a swan.

These and other well known stories are euphamisms or parables for the process of spiritual transformation.  The process by which man becomes superman.  The process by which mundane conciousness becomes Christ conciousness.  Joseph Campbell spent a lifetime studying ancient myths, legends and fairy tales and found that many of them from all over the world relate to this one idea: that man can and should transform himself (with the help of God) into something more.  So why are so few people doing it?  Because most modern churches seem to have lost track of what the primary purpose of a church is.  That needs to be corrected, and soon.  We are in the end times and we only have a few years left.  And if your church isn't moving you in that direction, than it is time to look for another church .
