I was watching CNN recently and they were talking about fantasy football.  In fantasy football, players make up there own teams using real players and bet on them.  Hundreds of millions of dollars are being spent every year by adults on these fantasy games.  Meanwhile, their kids are spending even more on the fantasy worlds of video games.  And those are just two of the biggest examples of how many people these days are choosing to live in a world of fantasy.  To some extent, we probably all live in a fantasy world made up by the media, the politicians, the advertisers and the companies we work for, but the people who decide to live virtually all of their lives in a fantasy world is something else.  The CNN reporter even mentioned on fantasy football fanatic who quit his job to play fantasy football full time.  
    So why are so many people choosing to live in fantasy rather than dealing with reality?  My theory is that they are aware on some level — and to varying degrees — that the world they had believed in, the world they considered the real world, is falling apart, crumbling to pieces, and they don't know what to do about it.  Essentually, hiding in fantasy is just another form of hiding under the bed to wait for it (whatever "it" is) to end.  That is exactly what Satan and the forces of darkness want.  They want us to hide from reality and not try to do anything to fix it until it is too late.  We can't allow that to happen.  We have to face the real world with it's real problems and work to fix those problem with the only thing that can fix them: returning out world to it's origins as a world of spirit and a world of Light.  They we wont have to hide in fantasy because the real world will be a wonderful place.
