We all know that Labor Day is a day to celebrate the hard working people who have made, and continue to make, America great.  But do you know how is started?  It was really an attempt by President Cleveland to appease the labor movement after a conflict between US. Marshalls, soldiers and the striking workers resulted in the death of some workers involved in the Pullman strike.
