Random Thoughts 8-22-2010
I liked the video on CNN this week showing a bull at a bull fight in Spain jumping the fence and into the crowd of spectators. I like to root for the underdog, especially when it's an animal being mistreated for no reason other than sick people find it entertaining.
And another story on CNN: On Friday morning is the announcement that American Airlines is going to start charging a fee to get the privilege of sitting in the first two or three rows in coach. On Friday afternoon, an American Airlines flight is disrupted by a phoned warning of a planned hijacking. Hmmmmm.
There are still a few seats available for the Conference on the Spiritual State of the World to be held Sept.9-Sept.10 in Reno, Nevada.
A half billion eggs recalled and all from hugh factory farms where many thousands of hens are kept in tiny cages stacked for or five layers high. All independent scientific studies show that these factory farms greatly increase the chances of salmonella, but lets keep doing it because it's cheeper so the big corporations that own the farms make more profit.

I plan for tomorrow and take action today.
