Kids like chia pets because in a few days they can see seeds grow into green plants.  They are not so impressed with planting an apple seed and waiting weeks to get a tiny tree and several years before the tree is big enough to bear fruit.  That doesn't mean that chia is better than apples.
    The ancients might spend several decades building a stone temple, while a modern prefabricated building can be put up in days.  Does that make the prefab better? No, it doesn't!  Some things are worth waiting for and that prefab will be falling apart while the stone building will still be going strong.
    Yet many people today act as if something you have to wait for isn't worth bothering with.  But when you think in terms of eternal life in spirit, than spending years to accomplish something doesn't seem so bad.  And when we put seeds in others by talking too them about spiritual growth or just sending them positive, spiritual thoughts, we shouldn't be disappointed because they don't change overnight.  Sometimes, it takes years for the seeds to bear fruit, so keep on sowing those seeds!
