The annual International Community of Christ convocation in Reno, NV will be in September on the week of Labor Day. One major difference this year is that the convocation will include a two-day seminar open to the public that will feature talks on Cosolargy, immortality, prophecy, 2012 and the End Times, etc. For more details and to register, follow this link .
That week in September is also the week of the Great Balloon Race in Reno when over 100 hot air balloons race, offer rides, or just show off. Many of the hotels and resort casinos will have a special deal on Saturday like breakfast on the top of the garage at Circus Circus where you can get pictures of the balloons taking off.

This is more bad luck than crazy. Already an entry for the new iPhone! A guy stole one right out of a women's hand and ran with it. It took only nine minutes for the cops to find him. The women works for a software company and was testing a new GPS locator app.
In Texas, a guy robbed a convenience store by demanding money and pointing to his waist band. What he had in there was a caulking gun.
A guy took about $75,000 worth of bling from a jewelry store in Washington. When he left, employee's yelled out for help and some of the people on the street started chasing the crook who quickly collapsed exhausted. He has only one lung.
In another attempted robbery of a jewelry store, a guy threw a brick at the storefront window. It turned out to be plexiglass and the brick bounced off hitting the guy in the head and knocking him out.

I never include names in these crime stories because I'm not trying to make fun of anyone, just indicating how cime in general is dumb and having a laugh at the same time.
