Random Thoughts 7-11-2010

ARRGH!!  I just spent a half-hour typing in these stories and when I clicked the "Add Video button" the whole article disappeared, so I'm starting all over again.  This time I'll save before trying to add video.

I got my notice yesterday for the annual ICC Convocation in Reno this September.  Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to attend this year due to being in the process of changing jobs (I'm being an optimist and assuming I will find a new one very soon).

Can't decide if you want to spend your time off going on a nice vacation or doing some charity work?  Here is one solution:
Royal Caribbean is doing a special cruise to benefit Haiti in November.  The cruise starts in Miami and goes to St. Martin, San Juan and Labadee, Haiti (Royal Caribbeans private beach).  During at sea days, you can volunteer to put together packages and cards to be delivered to orphanages and schools when the ship arrives in Haiti.  For more information, follow this link , or go to Royal Caribbean's main page.

A short video I made at Sebec lake on my trip to Maine.  I hope I won't get in trouble for borrowing Jaws music.  I couldn't resist.  It seemed perfect to go with the "Toe Eating Fish".

Bluegills in Sebec lake like to bite toes.

What did you think of this article?

Love the Spiritual quote of the week!
Also love the video of the fish biting your toes! I tell people all the time and they think I'm nuts. I wear water shoes all the time when I go in the water now. Of course they don't hurt, but it still freaks me out when I feel them! LOL! I hope you enjoyed your visit! We loved having you here.If anyone wants to see more of the lake they can visit SebecLake.net.
