Fulgurite is not a specific crystal or mineral, though it is usually made mostly from quartz.  When lightening strikes sand, in the desert or on a beach, it often leaves tubes of rock from sand that was melted by the intense heat of the lightning that solidifies when it cools.  Those tubes are called Fulgurite.  Fulgurite pieces are usually only an inch or two long, but occasionally much longer ones are produced.  
    Fulgurites are said to be a powerful aid in having visions and lucid dreams and in getting answers to our prayers. Some users recommend that the best way to get your intentions with the Fulgurite is to think about what you want, than blow through the hollow center of the stone.   It is believed that some of the energy of the lightning remains in the stones and can be used by the person carrying the stone to amplify intentions.  Fulgurite  helps you manifest your higher purpose.  It's energy helps charge your energy centers and aids the flow of energy between them.  It is also useful for purification.  It aids in communicating with the spirit worlds.  
    On the physical side, Fulgurite is said to have aphrodisiac properties.  It also helps with problems of the ears.
