Ajoite, or Ajo Blue Quartz, is a form of quartz crystals with areas of blue in them.  The name comes from Ajo, Arizona where they were first discovered.  Since then, some have been found in a few mines in Africa, but all known sources have now been exhausted so no more can be mined unless they are found somewhere else.
    Ajoite helps one with love and emotional healing.  It aids in getting through difficult periods of grief and sorrow.  It aids in removing negativity and helping one advance to higher planes.  It activates the throat chakra and helps all the chakras harmonize.  It is said to emit the energy of the Goddess, Sophia, or Gaia so would help one to communicate with, and relate to, nature and the environment.  It clears the chakras of negative energy and helps the Light body and the physical body work together.   It aids concentration, so can be helpful when studying for exams.  It improves creativity.  It helps people of different beliefs and backgrounds work together.  Ajoite is sometimes found mixed with Shattuckite and those stones are said to protect against psychic attacks.
