Today, nearly everyone thinks a successful civilization, nation, or government must be very materialistic.  Succuss is almost always measured by the economy or by the land and other wealth the nation or civilization has.  That was not always the case.
    Rudolf Steiner and Edgar Cayce both tell us the civilization of ancient Atlantis was great because it's people were highly developed spiritually.  Even the rulers, which Steiner calls "priest kings", were chosen for their spiritual wisdom.  According to Cayce, that civilization fell apart when it became more materialistic.  
    Modern science in general doesn't believe in Atlantis.  Nonetheless, those who have been studying ancient ruins and ancient writings with an open mind are finding increasing evidence of ancient civilizations that were very spiritual in nature.  And they were not just small groups in hidden spots of the world.  They were often large civilizations that covered areas the size of many modern countries.      
    The writings of Plato are not the only source of information about these civilizations.  Other writing from thousands of years ago such as the Vedas of India and ancient legends in South America indicate that great civilizations existed thousands of years ago and, in most cases, these civilizations were very spiritual.      
    So why should we care about all this ancient history?  Because,in many ways, these ancient lost civilizations had it much better than we do today.  They didn't have wars, period.  They rarely got sick because they knew how to care for their physical bodies as well as their spirits.  They never starved or had to fight for food because they were so highly developed spiritually, that they lived mostly on God's Light and only occasionally ate any material food.  So our goal is to bring back such civilization.  And we need to do it very soon because these are the end times.  End Times meaning the end of the materialistic age which will lead to one of two things:  complete destruction of Earth or the dawn of the Golden Age.  We have to decide which.
