Random Thoughts 4-18-2010
Happy Second Advent Easter. In the International community of Christ , we always celebrate Easter on April 18th. That is when the first Easter occurred and there is no reason to move it around to always be on the weekend of Passover since those two events are not connected.
A volcanic eruption in Iceland is shutting down airports all over europe. A women sends her adopted son back to Russia because he's not perfect like a defective television or some spoiled fish thereby creating a major international incident. It's interesting how an event in one part of the world can have such effect in other places.

A man in Ohio was arrested when witnesses identified him as the one who had been walking up behind small children in public places and hitting them on the head when the parents weren't looking, then walking off as if nothing happened. When asked why he did it, he said he enjoyed the excitement of getting away with something.
In England recently, a one-armed man stole a single cufflink from a store and, in a separate incident, a one legged man stole a single Nike shoe.
A teenage criminal made it easy for the police. When he broke into an office furniture store to steal some things, he took the opportunity to use a computer in the store to put some stolen items up for sale, view some pornography, then visit his personal myspace page.
When police stopped a guy for a routine traffic violation, they found that he was wanted for bank robbery and arrested him. The guy complained of stomach pain and passed out and was taken to the hospital. Later, when he was apparently feeling better, he left the hospital and stopped at a nearby bar for a drink. The bar owner was suspicious and called the police when he saw that the guy was still dressed in a hospital gown with an intravenous needle dangling from his arm.
