and the sacred scriptures are the cows.

Spiritual truths are the same for all of us.  It doesn't matter whether you find those truths in the Bible, the Koran, the Upanishads, or other sacred books.  If you truly understand what the great prophets are trying to say, you will realize that they are all saying the same thing.  Unfortunately, over time, this tends to get distorted and altered by their followers and by translators who understand language but don't understand spirituality.
