Variscite is a stone that is closely related to turquoise and usually found in the same mines.  It looks much like turquoise but with a yellow-green color.  The difference in color is due to variscite having more aluminum in it and no copper.  It is mostly mined in Utah and Nevada.
    Variscite is said to aid in remembering past lives.  It is also said to relieve depression, fear, worry, and impatience.  It is an aid to success and morality.  It is said to aid mental alertness and concentration as well as the higher intuitive facilities.   For healing, it is mainly considered to be useful for helping the nervous system.  It's color indicates it would be helpful in sending healing energies to organs between the heart and the solar prexus.
