    What Schwaller de Lubicz calls "intelligence-of-the-heart " to distinguish it from intellect or intelligence-of-the-brain, we in the International Community of Christ call "Consciousness".  Consciousness is liberating in the sense that it frees one from being trapped in the material world with nothing to look forward to but more of the same.  The brain cannot understand the spiritual, but the soul can, so awakening the soul is necessary to liberate us from materialism.  That is the true meaning of being reborn.  And once we are reborn, we are obligated to help others do the same.
