I notice that once again many houses in my neighborhood already have Christmas decorations up, some before Thanksgiving, but none of then have any indication that what is being celebrated is the birth of Jesus.  There are reindeer, snowmen, Santas and lots of colorful lights, but no nativity scenes, no angels, nothing really religious.

I heard on CNN that, while he is a pariah to most people, Burnie Madoff is like a king to the other con men in prison with him.  That gives you some idea how much rehabilitation actually happens in our prisons.

One good thing about a twelve-month year: we will not have to worry about the date 13/13/13.

After an argument with her boyfriend, a women poured a pot of boiling grits on him while he was sleeping

A women in Florida was charged with assault for whacking her boyfriend with a raw steak

A man in Iowa was arrested for assaulting another man who was ordering food in a restaurant.  He claimed the guy he assaulted was a zombie.  No word on what the victim was ordering.
