In the 1980s, this book of the Bible was a favorite of those who thought the Bible was just a record of UFO, or more accurately alien space ship, encounters.  Of course, if you don't believe in God, it is easy to come to that conclusion.  Another possibility though is that Ezekiel really did have a spiritual vision.  I choose to believe the latter.
