Procrastination
Procrastination is one of the most common bad habits. We all do it sometime. If we really want to do something, we can always find the time, but if we don't want to do it, we tend to put it off over and over again until it is either too late or we have to rush to get it done.
Some people like to put things off and rush to get them done at the last minute. They enjoy the adrenaline rush they get from the frantic activity. For most of us though, all we get from putting things off and rushing t get them done at the last minute is a lot of unhealthy stress. And doing so often end up putting us into an endless cycle of procrastination. We but off doing "A" until the last minute, then we have to put off doing "B" so we can get "A" done, then we have to rush to get "B" done, then we have to rush to get "C" done, then we start complaining about out stressful and hectic life.
The best solution is to do things at the earliest time we can rather than waiting for the last minute and getting caught in the endless cycle. This goes not only for work activities, but also personal and social ones. Don't wait until a week before the reunion to finally try to loose weight. Don't wait until that elderly relative dies while your trying to find time to pay them a visit. Don't wait until you've been laid off to take that job training class your interested in. And most of all, don't wait until you are on your deathbed to decide your ready to develop your spiritual side. Do it NOW.
