Gems and Crystals: Bloodstone

     Bloodstone is a green stone with red spots. This color combination has given it a reputation as a good stone for circulation problems and for purifying the blood. On the spiritual side, it can help clean out negative or destructive emotions and energies and improve circulation of physical and spiritual energy.
    One legend says that bloodstone formed when the blood of Jesus fell onto green earth and solidified.
Bloodstone will help the heart chakra and benefit organs in that part of the body.
Bloodstone is also reputed to give you the courage to defeat your enemies and break down barriers to your success.
