Scripture: The Gospel of Phillip 10

Light and darkness, life and death, the right and the left are each other's brothers.  They cannot separate from one another.  Therefore, the good are not good and the evil are not evil, nor is life life, nor death death.  On account of this, each one will dissolve into its beginning origin.  But those who are exalted above the world cannot dissolve; they are eternal.

This is a passage that sounds rather confusing and contradictory, but it really isn't.  There is a difference between good and evil, but what most people conventionally consider good and evil isn't it.  Very simply, evil is ignorance of God for those who know God follow his will.  But life is the physical world is necessarily of a duel nature.  A thing cannot exist here without it's opposite.  But eventually, all will go back to it's original state of spirit and the duality will not exist.  And what about those who are exalted?  That does not refer to celebrities or those who are rich and famous on the earth, but to those who have become spiritually enlightened.
