Talk About It
Very often people in our lives do little things that we find annoying. It can be our spouse, children, parents, friends or co-workers. There are many of these little things that can annoy different people. Simple things like drumming fingers on the table or humming, talking loud when your on the phone, walking in front of the TV when your watching a show, etc. It can be bigger things like the husband who comes to the breakfast table in his underwear.
Whatever these little annoyances are, most of us tend to hold in our annoyance and not say anything about it for fear of starting an argument or getting a reputation as a bossy person. Sometimes though, it is better to not hold it in until your annoyance reaches the level where you blow up at the person in a way that is totally out of proportion with the thing that is annoying you. So if you think some minor annoyance is getting to you, politely and gently talk to the person about it. Let them know it bothers you and you may be surprised to find that they are often willing to cooperate with you.
