Take Time Off

In today's mad rush world with everyone working too many hours, it's important to take some time to get away from your concerns and worries and just have some fun.  I covered the importance of vacations in a previous post, but it's also important the rest of the time to occasionally take a day, or even just a few hours, off to have fun.  Go to an amusement park.  Go swimming or boating in a nearby lake.  Take a river boat ride.  Go for a hike or a bike ride.  Go surfing or hang gliding.  Whatever activities you enjoy, whatever gets your mind off of your usual concerns, that what you should do.  And don't feel guilty about doing it because it will actually make you more productive and more creative when you get back to work, including the work of developing your spiritual self.
