After seeing just a few pictures, I can just imagine how fantastic and special this trip has been for you. I am so happy you were able to go. It is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Just looking at the picture the hair on my arms was standing up and I could feel the sensation of tears. The energy was wonderful and so peaceful.

Yes, most ancient temples and religious sites are high in the mountais. The explanation for this is usually that it was done for protection and isoolation. While that is true, it was also done because of the great energy of these places which the priests and priestesses could detect and chose locations with the best energy.
