It's May 21st in the USA, but May 22 in Greece. We will have to leave the hotel early to catch a bus to Piraeus, the port of Athens. We will board the cruise ship the Aegean Pearl for a three day cruise of the Greek islands. The ship leaves at 11:00 am and we make the first of five stops this afternoon at Mykonos. Mykonos is known for it's windmills and the Paraportiani church. It is also known as a popular vacation spot for gays, which doesn't bother us; we're a gay friendly church.  Actually, we're an everybody friendly church meaning we don't believe in hating those we disagree with.  Anyway, I love cruises and I've never done one in the Mediterranean before so this should be fun although the ship is an older one and quite small compared to the mega ships of today.
