Gambling has become very popular these days, in large part, because of the popularity of state lotteries.  Probably a hundred or more books that give gamblers advise on how to win in the casino, and even with state lotteries have been published and have sold many thousands of copies.  One of the standard things most reputable writers on the subject advise people is to only gamble with money you can afford to lose and I think that is good advice.
    When it comes to gambling with your immortal soul, however, it's an all or nothing kind of bet.  Those who say they are not sure that God exists or that they have an immortal soul and decide that they will wait until they die to find out if there is an afterlife and they have an immortal soul will find that when they die that immortal soul will survive, but will do so without them.  The only way we survive death is through spiritual development now, while we are still physically alive, so that our soul, spirit, psyche and mind become an integrated whole.
