Random Thoughts 4-5-2009

I'm surprised that I didn't get any comments on my recent post about how to tell if your spiritual development is succeeding.  I hope some have at least tried the method.  Maybe when the weather get warmer?

Gone bloggy again:  For the online creative writing course I'm in now, I have to spend thirty to sixty minutes once a day jotting down anything that pops into my mind.  The purpose of this is to release you writing inhibitions so that you can better express yourself.  Anyway, I found that sometime I end up writing some strange stories, or partial stories, so I decided to start another blog to put them on, after they are cleaned up and finished, of course.  So, if you like strange, surreal, crazy, humorous stories and opinions, like talking mailboxes that go on strike, cucumbers that ponder the afterlife, etc. take a look at Tales of Nonsense.

I find it interesting that when disasters like 9/11 and hurricane Katrina happen in liberal areas, conservative Evangelical preachers say it is God punishing liberals, feminists, homosexuals, etc, but they are mysteriously silent when floods, tornadoes, and other disasters hit Bible Belt states and other conservative areas.

More From the Wild Whirled of Torts (crazy law suits):

A college student is suing U. S. Airways for one million because an Xbox was stolen from his luggage.

Another is suing Bank of America for loss of his iPod and song collection stored on it which he valued at one trillion dollars.
