I recently posted an article about electromagnetic forces and how important they are to us, yet, we largely ignore them.  I was therefore fascinated to learn that in at least one case, NASA has recognized their importance.
    Scientist Schumann  calculated the basic magnetic resonance found on earth which is now known as the Schumann Resonance at primarily 7.83 Hz.  Studies have found that we need this frequency for optimum health.  In early space travel, NASA doctors and scientists found that astronauts and cosmonauts returning to earth suffered from nausea, disorientation, and a temporary loss of the ability to focus.  At first, these symptoms were thought to be caused by the trauma of reentry, but extensive research found that the real cause of the problem was the absence of the Schumann Resonance in space.  NASA now equips all manned spacecraft with a Schumann tone generator to prevent those problems.
