One of the earliest prophetic dreams that I remember having happened when I was about nine or ten years old.  Over a period of about two weeks I had the same dream several times.  In the dream I was in a strange place eating a type of candy I had never heard of.  I looked for it in my local grocery store, but they didn't have it.  At the time, of course, I had no idea that dreams could be telling me something about the future, and, even if I did, I wouldn't know how to interpret it.  The popular Zolar dream dictionary says that dreaming of eating candy indicates that you are loving pleasure or will be soon falling in love, or you are spoiling yourself with too much indulgence.  That is the usual interpretation but, as I've mentioned before on this blog, dream symbols may mean something else to you or in a particular dream which is what makes interpreting them so difficult.
    A few months later, my family moved to another town just a few miles away.  When I went shopping at the local grocery store, I saw the candy from my dream (it's called Chuckles) in the candy section so I had to get some. I found that I liked it.  When my mother saw me with it she told me it had been a favorite of mine when I was three or four and previously lived in that town.  I had completely forgotten it, but my mind had apparently used it as a symbol to tell me I was moving back to North Brookfield where I used to get that candy.
