Creating

Have you ever wrote poetry, painted, sculpted or designed new clothing?  Have you ever wrote fictional stories?  Have you ever designed a garden?  Have you made up a recipe or modified an existing one?
Those are all examples of being creative and in one way or another we all do it.  It may be just decorating our own home or adjusting recipes to suit out taste but we are all creative.  Why?
The answer is simple for those who believe in God.  We all create because we are all children of the Creator.  We have souls and spirits created by God and, more importantly, created specifically to be co-creators with God.  We were made to create.  That is our purpose.  But, to fulfill that purpose, we have to know God.  We have to communicate with God so we know his divine plan and what part we as individuals play in that plan.
The Great Pyramid wasn't build by thousands of people each doing whatever they wanted to.  They had to work with a plan and they had to adjust the plan when things didn't work exactly as expected.
The material world will not be fixed and returned to the realm of God unless we learn to work toward that goal and, perhaps the toughest part of all for many, let God's Will be done rather than man's will.  And, as I mention frequently on this blog, to learn how to communicate with God, we need to work with a trained spiritual teacher.
