I heard on CNN a few days ago that in the past few weeks, four billionaires or multi-millionaires have committed suicide due to the world financial crisis.  One was a German billionaire who had lost about half of his fortune.  The others probably suffered similar losses.  None of them were broke and most of us would be overjoyed to have what was left of their fortunes.  Yet, they were driven to suicide by a lose of self-esteem.  They had put all their faith in money and material wealth and their god had failed them.  There have probably been quite a few other suicides of less famous people as well.  Hopefully, most will learn that man has more worth than what is in his wallet or driveway.  Faith in God, by whatever name you know Him, helps you get through difficult times.
