Scripture: The Odes of Solomon 21:2-5
And I put off darkness and clothed myself with light,
And my soul acquired a body free from sorrow or affliction or pains.
And increasingly helpful to me was the thought of the Lord,
and His fellowship in incorruption:
And I was lifted up in his; and I served before him ...
To cloth yourself with light and acquire a body free from sorrow, etc. is to leave your physical body and "acquire" a spiritual one (actually, you always had one, you just are not aware of it because the physical demands so much attention). Lifted up to the Lord doesn't mean floating up into the sky. It means floating up to a higher dimension of reality, a higher vibration rate. To the worlds of light that are always here, but we are not aware of them because we are in a lower dimension.
