This is a tough year for many and some wonder what there is to be thankful for.  For  starters, if you're reading this you are probably alive so you can be thankful for that.  You can be thankful that you can express your opinion without fear of being thrown in jail.  You can be thankful for friends and family.  If you have a job, a house, a car, be thankful for that. 
Most of all, you can be thankful that God is there to help if you ask for help and your willing to let Him decide what help you need most.
    If you still can't think of anything to be thankful for, volunteer to deliver Christmas gifts to a childrens hospital or, better yet, a hospital for retarded children.  I did that when I was in college and it was a real wake-up call.  I know now that I have plenty to be thankful for.
