The Power of Scent

Walking by a restaurant, the smell of something good cooking can make you hungry, even when you were not hungry before.  The scent of the pool water can make you want to go for a dip when you walk by a swimming pool.  Real Estate Agents tell people to bake an apple pie so the house will smell like fresh apple pie for an open house.
While most of us are primarily visual, scents can still have a powerful effect on us.  So it should not be a surprise that many people report that angels and highly developed spiritual people give off an ethereal scent like exotic flowers.  That is also why incense is burned in some churches and scented oil from tropical flowers is often added to anointing oils.  These scents have a higher vibration rate then unpleasant scents and encourage us to increase our vibration rate which is necessary to communicate with God and angels.
