Steamboat Spa is a historic spa in Reno Nevada that is fed by a geothermal spring that has a unique mixture of minerals.  One popular, the spa had fallen into disrepair and had been out of business for years.  The owner gifted it to the International Community of Christ in 1986.  Church members provided funds and volunteered their time to fix the place up and reopen it in a time when spas are becoming popular again.  In addition to the mineral baths, color therapy, massage, aromatherapy and Cymatherapy have been added.  The name has been changed to Steamboat Healing Center & Spa to reflect the addition of these other therapies.  When I visit Reno, I always include at least one visit to Steamboat for a soak in one of the tubs and a massage or Cymatherapy session.
