The five auctions for dog clones are over and the company is being very tight lipped about it.  Nothing on the web site about who won, what the winning bids were, how many bids they got, or anything else.  For all the publicity they got last month when they announced the auction, everything seems to be very quiet now that it's over.  It appears that they only got winning bids for two auctions.  The ones for $140,000, $160,000 and $180,000 starting bid apparently received no bidders.  Not as many stupid rich people in the world as they thought!

Great Britain is having an unusually high number of UFO sightings this year.

In Mexico, a donkey was jailed for three days for biting and kicking two men.  Hopefully, he's been completely rehabilitated by the experience.

In religion, the buzz this week is about a stone tablet that tells a story about a Messiah that died and was resurrected three days later.  The tablet is believed to predate the birth of Jesus.  I don't think it is a revelation.  I think what it is referring to is simply that the soul leaves the body 3 days after physical death.  That happens to everyone.
