Trip to Leesylvania Park

I'm writting this on July 5th, a rainy morning here in Northern Virginia.  I thought I should mention that since I won't post this for several more days.

On July 4th I took my dogs Cocoa and Nova to Leesylvania park here in Virginia and let them run through the woods, look for deer and rabbits, and get wet in the Potomac river.  Always on a leash as required. They enjoyed it, as usual.  I've mentioned before on this blog that trips to a park, walks in the woods, or the mountains can help you recharge by allowing you to absorb energy from the trees and reduce the loss of energy from being around a lot of negative people.
 Here are a few pictures:

Nova and Cocoa head up the trail into the woods.

A Great Blue Heron on the beach.  I tried to get closer, but it flew off.

Nova cools off in the Potomac under the fishing dock.
